Ingredients

  • 2 cups Rice batter - used to prepare idlis
  • 60 gms - Blue Berries
  • 70 gms - Raisins
  • 12-14 pepper Corns
  • 1 tbsp. - oil
  • 2 pinches - soda bicarb
  • oil for frying
  • salt to taste
  • How to Make Rice dumplings with blueberries and raisins:

    1. Mix all the ingredients with your fingers in a mixing bowl till fluffy.
    2. Heat oil for deep frying.
    3. Drop small portions of the batter at a time, turning once or twice.
    4. Fry the dumplings over low heat to medium heat till they begin to change colour.
    5. Wrap in a foil to keep warm.
    6. Carry as a snack while travelling.
