Ingredients

  • 2 cups Rice batter - used to prepare idlis
  • 60 gms - Blue Berries
  • 70 gms - Raisins
  • 12-14 pepper Corns
  • 1 tbsp. - oil
  • 2 pinches - soda bicarb
  • oil for frying
  • salt to taste

How to Make Rice dumplings with blueberries and raisins

  • Mix all the ingredients with your fingers in a mixing bowl till fluffy.
  • Heat oil for deep frying.
  • Drop small portions of the batter at a time, turning once or twice.
  • Fry the dumplings over low heat to medium heat till they begin to change colour.
  • Wrap in a foil to keep warm.
  • Carry as a snack while travelling.
