Ingredients

  • Cooked Rice - 10 cups
  • Red chillies - 10-15
  • Pepper - 2-3 tsp
  • Baking soda - 1 tsp
  • Salt to taste

How to Make Rice Kurmuras

  • Grind all the ingredients together with a little water.
  • Once the paste is ready, put it into a chakli maker.
  • Take a thin long cloth or polythene sheet.
  • Slowly make the chaklis on the cloth, but as very small circles.
  • Let it dry in the sun for a week.
  • Once totally dried, store it in air-tight containers.
  • Whenever required fry in hot oil and serve as Snack or with rice like papad.
