How to Make Ridge gourd And Onion Chutney

  • Peel the skin of ridge gourd and cut into 1 inch cubes. Cut tomatoes and onions into big chunks.
  • Heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan, add the vegetables and cover with a lid. Cook on a slow flame for 5 minutes.
  • Roast blackgram, fenugreek seeds and redchillies in little oil.
  • In a blender first crush roasted ingredients. To it add cooked vegetables, tamarind pulp, green coriander (washed) salt and turmeric powder. Blend for 2 minutes.
