Ingredients

  • 750 gms - pork spare ribs or tender pork chops
  • 3 - medium size carrots
  • 2 tbsp - butter
  • 1 tsp - dried herbs or dried mint powder
  • 2 - large onions, sliced finely
  • 2 tsp - pepper powder
  • 1 tsp - ginger garlic paste
  • 2 tbsp - flour
  • 2 cups - water
  • Salt to taste.

How to Make Roasted Pork Spare Ribs

  • Heat the butter in a pan and brown the pork spare ribs on all sides, then remove and keep aside.
  • In the same pan saute the onions and ginger garlic paste for some time.
  • Add the flour and mix well. Slowly add one cup of water stirring all the time.
  • Add the pepper powder, dried herbs/ mint powder and salt and some more water.
  • Cook on low heat for 15 minutes till the meat is cooked and the water reduces.
  • Place the pork ribs in a buttered casserole dish and pour the contents of the pan over the spare ribs.
  • Arrange the carrots on top and cook in a moderate oven (355 degrees F) for about 45 minutes.
  • Serve with bread and steamed vegetables.
