Ingredients

  • 200 g - Refined flour or Maida
  • 200 g - Butter
  • 100 g - Sugar
  • A pinch of salt
  • 2 - eggs beaten well
  • 1 tsp - baking powder
  • 4 tbsp - mixed fruit or Strawberry jam
  • 1 cup - fresh Cream whipped with 2 tsp - Sugar
  • How to Make Roly-poly Pudding:

    1. Beat the butter and sugar together till fluffy.
    2. Add the eggs and continue beating for a few minutes.
    3. Add the flour, jam, salt and baking powder and mix well.
    4. Pour the mixture in a greased baking dish.
    5. Bake for 25 minutes until brown on the top.
    6. Remove from the oven and when cold turn over on a serving dish.
    7. Decorate with jam and whipped cream.
