  • 1/2 cup - Aval/Poha/Rice flakes
  • 2 cups - Whole milk
  • 1/2 cup - Water
  • 1/2 cup - Sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/2 tsp - Cardamom powder
  • 1 tbsp - Rose water
  • 2 tbsp - Rose syrup
  • 1 tbsp - Ghee
  • A few pistachios (for garnishing)

How to Make Rose Poha Kheer

  • Heat the ghee, roast the poha until it turns mildly brown and add the milk, sweetened condensed milk, water, rose water and rose syrup.
  • Cook everything in medium flame until the poha gets well cooked.
  • Finally, add the cardamom powder and put off the stove.
