  • Milk- 1 litre
  • Vinegar- 2 tbsp
  • Sugar -1 tsp
  • For the syrup:
  • Water -5 cups
  • Sugar- 1.5 cup
  • Rose essence few drops
  • How to Make Rosgulla:

    1. Boil the milk. Add vinegar.
    2. Once the whey separates, strain and wash thoroughly. Tie it in a muslin cloth and squeeze till all the water is gone.
    3. Add one spoon of sugar and knead well. Make this mixture into small balls and set aside.
    4. Make a syrup with sugar and water over a low flame. While the syrup boils, add the balls.
    5. Let it cook (covered) for 10 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside to cool.
