  • Milk- 1 litre
  • Vinegar- 2 tbsp
  • Sugar -1 tsp
  • For the syrup:
  • Water -5 cups
  • Sugar- 1.5 cup
  • Rose essence few drops

How to Make Rosgulla

  • Boil the milk. Add vinegar.
  • Once the whey separates, strain and wash thoroughly. Tie it in a muslin cloth and squeeze till all the water is gone.
  • Add one spoon of sugar and knead well. Make this mixture into small balls and set aside.
  • Make a syrup with sugar and water over a low flame. While the syrup boils, add the balls.
  • Let it cook (covered) for 10 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside to cool.
