Ingredients

  • 150 g - desiccated Coconut
  • 75 g - Sugar or to taste
  • 3/4 cup - fresh rose petals
  • 1.5 cup - water
  • 1 tsp - rose water
  • 1/4 tsp - edible food colour
  • 2 tsp - rose syrup
  • 1 - silver leaf

How to Make Rosy Ladoo

  • Grind rose petals with some water.
  • Heat a pan with water and add sugar. Keep stirring on low heat till a string-like consistency is achieved.
  • When sugar is dissolved, add coconut and rose paste.
  • Add colour.
  • Cook on low heat till the mixture is quite thick.
  • When the mixture leaves the corner of pan, remove from heat and add rose water.
  • Leave to cool. Divide into small portions and roll into balls.
  • Garnish with silver foil.
