  • 7 to 8 leftover chapattis
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 2 chopped tomatoes
  • 2 to 3 crushed garlic flakes
  • A little bit of finely chopped ginger
  • coriander for garnishing
  • 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1/2 tsp mustard seeds
  • A pinch of hing
  • salt to taste
  • oil for frying
  • Spices (according to taste):
  • turmeric powder
  • coriander powder
  • red chilli powder
  • garam masala

How to Make Roti Poha

  • Break the rotis into small pieces by hand.
  • Put 3 tbsp of oil in a pan.
  • Add cumin seeds, mustard seeds and hing when the oil is hot.
  • Add chopped onions, ginger and garlic and saute until onions become light brown.
  • Then add chopped tomatoes and cook for a while.
  • Mix all the spices and salt.
  • Then add the roti pieces and mix well.
  • Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
  • It's ready to serve.
