  • 1 1/2 cups - icing sugar
  • 1 - egg white.

How to Make Royal Icing

  • Beat egg white lightly with a wooden spoon. Sift icing sugar.
  • Add 1 tbsp. of icing sugar at a time to the egg, beating well after each addition.
  • Once all the icing sugar has been added, beat until the icing forms into peaks.
  • Fill in paper piping bags and decorate the cake.
