Ingredients

  • 500 gm - Prawns (washed and deveined)
  • 2 - Big Onions (sliced)
  • 1 tsp - Red Chilli powder
  • 1/4 tsp - Turmeric powder
  • 15 - Curry leaves
  • Salt
  • Oil
  • To grind:
  • 5 - Garlic Cloves
  • 1 tbsp - Coriander seeds
  • 3 - Cloves
  • 1 inch stick - Cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp - Poppy Seeds
  • 2 tbsp - Coconut (grated)
  • How to Make Royallu Mudda Kura - Prawn Curry:

    1. Marinate the prawns in salt, turmeric powder and red chilli powder for a few minutes.
    2. Grind the ingredients in the 'To grind' list into a fine paste with enough water.
    3. Cook the marinated prawns until the water from the prawns disappears.
    4. Heat enough oil in a pan and saute the onions and curry leaves until they turn transparent.
    5. Add the ground paste and cook well in medium flame.
    6. Add the cooked prawns to the paste and vegetables and cook until the water from the vegetables disappears.
