Ingredients

  • 1 - Egg + 1 yolk
  • 4 cups - flour
  • 1 cup - Sugar
  • 1/2 tsp - Cream of Tartar
  • 3/4 tsp - baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp - Cinnamon powder
  • 1/2 tsp - Nutmeg powder
  • 2 tbsp - Butter or Ghee
  • 1 cup - Curd
  • 1/2 cup - rum
  • How to Make Rum Doughnuts:

    1. Cream the sugar, egg, yolk and the rum together.
    2. Sift in the flour and dry ingredients and melted butter and curd.
    3. Knead well.
    4. Roll out the dough 1/4-inch thick and cut with doughnut forms.
    5. Fry in ghee to a golden brown.
