Ingredients

  • 100 g - French beans, chopped
  • 100 g - carrots, chopped
  • 100 g - potatoes, peeled and chopped
  • 100 g - lotus stems, chopped
  • 100 g - white radish, scraped and chopped
  • Salt - to taste
  • 200 g - Cashewnuts
  • 50 g - Red Chilli powder
  • 2 tsp - Ginger-garlic paste
  • 8 tsp - Cumin seeds
  • fresh Coriander leaves
  • 1 tsp - Garam Masala
  • 2 tbsp - oil
  • 1 - Onion (big), sliced
  • How to Make Sabzi Handi:

    1. Boil the vegetables separately.
    2. Grind the cashewnuts to a paste.
    3. Heat oil in a kadai and saute the cumin seeds, add sliced onion.
    4. Fry it a little, when it turns red, add ginger-garlic past and fry again for few minutes.
    5. Add chilli powder and cook.
    6. Add the cashewnut paste and stir.
    7. Add the vegetables, salt, garam masala and cook for a few minutes.
    8. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
