Ingredients

  • 2 bunch - saga (green leaves)
  • 1 - small brinjal, chopped in small pieces
  • a small portion - Pumpkin chopped in small pieces
  • 50 g - moong dal
  • onions, finely chopped
  • 5/6 Cloves - Garlic
  • 2 tsp - oil
  • 1 tsp - cumin
  • 1 tsp - Mustard Seeds
  • 2 - Green chillies
  • salt to taste
  • How to Make Saga:

    1. Boil water, add dal and salt. Once dal is boiled, add all the chopped vegetables.
    2. Wash the leaves properly and cut into small pieces, once vegetables are boiled add leaves to that.
    3. When all the vegetables and leaves are cooked properly, remove from fire.
    4. Heat oil. Add cumin and mustard seeds. Once the seeds have spluttered, add green chilly, chopped onion and garlic cloves.
    5. Keep frying and add vegetable and leaves mix properly.
