How to Make Sago Khichdi

  • Wash the sago well, drain and keep aside for 1/2 hour. (The moisture will soften it and so there is no need to soak).
  • Heat oil, season with cumin and green chillies.
  • Add sago, salt, sugar and peanuts.
  • Sprinkle a handful of water and keep covered on a low flame till sago is cooked.
  • Mix in coriander leaves and coconut.
