How to Make Sago Vada with Peanuts

  • Soak sago (saboodana) for 10-15 mins in water. Drain and set aside.
  • Boil the potatoes and mash them.
  • Grind green chillies, coriander leaves and mint leaves into a paste.
  • When the sago becomes soft like sponge, add the mashed potatoes, green mint-coriander-mint leaves paste, ground peanut powder, salt and turmeric powder. Mix well and make a dough.
  • Now convert the dough into small sized balls, press them on your palm like patties and deep fry in the oil.
  • Serve them hot with tomato sauce.
