  • 1/4 cup kg -sago )
  • 2 -medium sized Potatoes
  • 5 tbsp- ground Peanut powder
  • 1 bunch - Mint leaves
  • 1 bunch- Coriander leaves
  • 5- Green chillies
  • 1/2 tsp -turmeric powder
  • Salt
  • Oil
  • How to Make Sago Vada with Peanuts:

    1. Soak sago (saboodana) for 10-15 mins in water. Drain and set aside.
    2. Boil the potatoes and mash them.
    3. Grind green chillies, coriander leaves and mint leaves into a paste.
    4. When the sago becomes soft like sponge, add the mashed potatoes, green mint-coriander-mint leaves paste, ground peanut powder, salt and turmeric powder. Mix well and make a dough.
    5. Now convert the dough into small sized balls, press them on your palm like patties and deep fry in the oil.
    6. Serve them hot with tomato sauce.
