Ingredients

  • 1 kg - katla fish
  • 25 g - black mustard
  • 25 g - yellow mustard
  • salt to taste
  • Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
  • green chillies - 5
  • 75 g - mustard oil
  • 1 bunch - coriander leaves
  • 1 tsp - black Cuminutes

How to Make Sarse Mach

  • Clean, wash, drain and marinate with salt and turmeric.
  • Grind the mixed mustard seeds with 10-12 green chillies and water.
  • With 25 g of oil, marinate the fish along with the mustard paste.
  • Take kadai or skillet heat 50 g mustard oil, splutter black cuminutes. Add the fish and slowly saute it.
  • Lower the flame and pour 1 cup of water and boil.
  • When done, garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
  • Serve.
