Ingredients

  • For the dough:
  • 3 cups - Wheat flour
  • 1/2 tsp - salt
  • 2 tbsp - Ghee
  • For the stuffing:
  • 1.5 cup -Sattu
  • 4 - green chillies, finely chopped
  • 1 - onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp - Amchur powder
  • 1 tbsp - Lemon juice
  • Ajwain - 2 tsps
  • Red Chilli powder - 2 tsp
  • Dhania and Jeera powders- 1 tsp each
  • Mustard - 1 tsp
  • Saunf - 1tsp
  • salt - to taste.

How to Make Sattu Ka Paratha

  • Knead all the ingredients into a soft dough for the covering.
  • Mix all the ingredients with the sattu flour for the stuffing.
  • Roll out the ball of dough into a 3-4 inch diameter puris.
  • Place some of the mix in the centre and close the puri to form a ball.
  • Roll it out into a parantha.
  • Shallow fry in ghee, on both sides, and serve hot.
