Ingredients

  • 200 g - Flour
  • 4 - Eggs, beaten
  • 1 tsp - salt
  • 1 cup - Milk
  • 3 - Onions, chopped and ground to a paste
  • 2 tbsp - Butter or Ghee
  • 1 tsp - pepper powder
  • 1/2 tsp - Baking powder
  • 1 litre - Oil for frying

How to Make Savoury Doughnuts

  • Knead the flour with the salt, baking powder, pepper powder, onion paste, eggs and milk.
  • Keep aside for about one hour.
  • Divide the dough into small lemon sized balls.
  • Flatten each ball, then fold over any 2 sides to form a hollow, deep fry a few at a time till golden brown.
  • Cool and store in an air tight box and use whenever required.
