Ingredients

  • 250 g - semolina (sooji)
  • 100 g - Powdered Sugar
  • 50 g - Ghee or unsalted Butter
  • 3 - Eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup - Milk
  • ΒΌ tsp - Vanilla essence
  • 1 cup - Fresh grated Coconut or 4 tbsp - desiccated Coconut
  • 2 tbsp - Chopped nuts, such as Cashew nut or almonds.
  • How to Make Semolina Coconut Cookies:

    1. Roast the semolina in a pan with a little ghee till it gives out a nice aroma.
    2. Mix together the semolina, sugar, ghee/butter, eggs, milk, coconut and vanilla essence.
    3. Shape into small balls, press them a little and place on a greased baking tray.
    4. Sprinkle the chopped nuts on top.
    5. Bake in an oven on medium heat for about 30 minutes, till slightly brown on top.
