  • 200 g - semolina
  • 150 g - Sugar
  • 1 cup - Milk
  • 3 cups - water
  • 3 tbsp - condensed Milk
  • 3 tbsp - chopped nuts and Raisins
  • 3 tbsp - Ghee
  • 1 tsp - vanilla essence
  • How to Make Semolina Halwa:

    1. Roast the semolina in a pan for a few minutes.
    2. Remove and keep aside.
    3. Heat ghee and roast half the nuts and raisins and keep aside.
    4. In the same vessel add water and sugar and bring to boil.
    5. Lower heat, then add the milk and slowly mix in the semolina, condensed milk, raisins and nuts.
    6. Simmer till all the water is absorbed and the mixture leaves the sides of the pan.
    7. Serve garnished with fried nuts and raisins.
