Ingredients

  • 1 cup - gram flour (besan)
  • 3 cups - sugar
  • 1 cup - milk
  • 1 cup - dalda/ghee
  • 1 cup - coconut (ground/grated)

How to Make Seven in One

  • First fry the flour for few minutes in a dry pan.
  • Keep it aside and allow it to cool.
  • Add dalda, milk, sugar and ground coconut in a pan.
  • Wait for few seconds for the dalda to melt.
  • Add fried gram flour gradually. Mix well without forming lumps.
  • Keep the flame in low always.
  • Stir well the mix till the dalda starts coming out or until the mix reaches the consistency required to make burfi.
  • Pour the mix in a greased (ghee/dalda) flat plate.
  • After 5 minutes, cut it into pieces of desired size with a greased knife.
  • Store it in a container.
  • Garnish with grated cashews and badams.
