Ingredients

  • Bread slices - 4
  • Ghee
  • Condensed milk - 6 tbsp
  • Milk powder - 4 to 6 tbsp
  • Cardamom powder - 1/2 tsp
  • A pinch of saffron
  • A few shredded almonds and pista

How to Make Shahi Tukde Sandwich

  • Trim the edges of the bread slices.
  • Brush both sides of bread with ghee.
  • For the filling:
  • Mix condensed milk with milk powder, cardamom powder, saffron, almond and pista.
  • Slather this filling between two slices of bread.
  • Place in sandwich toaster and toast till golden brown. The sandwich can also be toasted on a manual sandwich toaster.
  • Serve warm.
