  • 8-10 - bread slices
  • 250 g - Rabri
  • 1 cup - Sugar
  • 1 cup - Water
  • 1/2 cup - Malai
  • Oil as required
  • 10-12 - Almonds
  • 7-8 - Pista
  • 20-25 - Raisins
  • A few rose petals
  • 1 - Chandi Virk (optional)
  • How to Make Shahi Tukre:

    1. Cut bread slices in half. Now take some oil in a kadai and shallow fry these slices until golden brown. Keep aside.
    2. Take water in a vessel and add the sugar. Bring to a boil to make the sugar syrup. Remove from heat.
    3. Soak the fried bread slices in this sugar syrup for about 10 mins. Remove when slightly soft.
    4. Take a serving plate / tray. Arrange the bread slices. Pour some malai on the bread slices. Now cover all the bread slices with rabri.
    5. Keep in the refrigerator for 5-10 minutes.
    6. Garnish the slices with almonds and pista cut in strips. Add the raisins. Put chandi virk and spread rose petals on this.
    7. Serve cool.
