  • 500g - fish, cut into pieces (shark/pomfret)
  • 2 - medium sized Onions
  • 1 tbsp - chilli powder
  • 1 tbsp - Vinegar
  • 4 tbsp - oil
  • Salt, to taste
  • How to Make Shark Fish Pickle:

    1. Marinate the fish pieces in 1/4 tbsp vinegar and salt for 10 minutes.
    2. Heat the whole oil in a pan and fry the fish pieces for about 15 minutes. Save the oil after frying the fish.
    3. Grind the onion into a fine paste.
    4. Heat the oil in a separate pan and add the onion paste. Fry for 15 minutes.
    5. Add the chilli powder and salt and fry for another 10 minutes.
    6. Then add the fried fish pieces and fry the mixture till it becomes brown in colour.
    7. Add the vinegar, mix well and allow it to cool.
    8. Goes well with rice.
