Ingredients

  • 6 or 8 sheep kidneys, cut into halves or 1 Beef kidney, cut into bits
  • 2 medium onions, chopped
  • 2 green chillies, slit lengthwise
  • 1 tsp - chopped Garlic
  • 1 tsp - peppercorns
  • salt to taste
  • 2 tbsp - oil
  • How to Make Sheep Kidney Stew:

    1. Wash the kidneys and remove the white skin.
    2. Heat oil in a pan and add the kidneys along with all the other ingredients in the raw state.
    3. Mix well and stir fry for a few minutes.
    4. Add 1 cup of water and simmer till the kidneys are cooked.
    5. Add a tablespoon of flour and thicken the stew.
    6. Serve hot with bread.
