Ingredients

  • 6 or 8 sheep kidneys, cut into halves or 1 Beef kidney, cut into bits
  • 2 medium onions, chopped
  • 2 green chillies, slit lengthwise
  • 1 tsp - chopped Garlic
  • 1 tsp - peppercorns
  • salt to taste
  • 2 tbsp - oil

How to Make Sheep Kidney Stew

  • Wash the kidneys and remove the white skin.
  • Heat oil in a pan and add the kidneys along with all the other ingredients in the raw state.
  • Mix well and stir fry for a few minutes.
  • Add 1 cup of water and simmer till the kidneys are cooked.
  • Add a tablespoon of flour and thicken the stew.
  • Serve hot with bread.
