  • 1 stick - sweet Butter
  • 1 heaped cup - sooji
  • 3 cups - Milk
  • 1 cup - brown or white Sugar
  • 3 tsps - Raisins
  • 3 tsps - cashew
  • Pinch each of turmeric, Clove and Cardamom powder
  • How to Make Sheera:

    1. Melt butter on low-fire and roast cashew pieces for 1/2 minute.
    2. Add sooji and roast for two more minutes.
    3. Add all the remaining ingredients and mix thoroughly and then keep stirring continuously until all the milk evaporates. This should not take more than five minutes.
    4. Cool for 15 minutes.
