  • 1/2 cup - each of urad, moong and Chana dal and Rice
  • 1 - minced big Onion
  • 5 - green chillies, minced
  • 1/2 - coconut, finely sliced
  • A pinch - of Asafoetida
  • 1 cup - shredded Cabbage
  • Salt to taste

How to Make Shredded Cabbage Vada

  • Soak the rice and dals separately for about 5 hours.
  • Drain out the water and grind finely.
  • Mix in the rest of the above ingredients and form into round cutlets and deep fry to a golden brown colour.
  • Drain and serve with chutney of your choice.
