How to Make Shrimp and Onions

  • Grind garlic, ginger and coriander leaves together in the form of paste.
  • Chop onions into medium size.
  • Apply all the ingredients to the shrimp including paste of ginger, garlic and coriander, tamarind paste and mix it well.
  • In a medium size pot, put oil, chopped onions and stir it thoroughly.
  • Let the onions be golden brown and pour all the shrimp mixture over the onions and mix well and cover the pot to cook it well for 15 mins until it starts boiling in its own water.
  • Then remove the cover and mix it well again. Pour coconut milk and mix it well and let it boil for another 5 mins.
  • Serve hot with plain rice.
