Ingredients

  • 500g - shrimp
  • 2 - big onions, finely diced
  • 2 tsp - chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp - Turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp - Tamarind pulp, mixed in warm water
  • handful of fresh Coriander leaves
  • 2 tbsp - oil (or according to your calorie intake)
  • salt

How to Make Shrimp man-pasand

  • Heat oil in the pan. Add onions and keep frying till they are nice brown.
  • Now add turmeric powder and chilli powder. Stir well.
  • Add tamarind water and keep stirring. It should reduce to a thick paste consistency.
  • Add shrimp, and let it cook.
  • Add salt and sprinkle cut coriander leaves on top.
  • Serve hot with paratha or rice.
