Ingredients

  • 500 g - shrimps large
  • 1/2 cup - slices Onion
  • 1 cup - fresh Tomatoes (finely chopped)
  • 1/2 cup - fresh coriander leaves, chopped
  • 1 - Lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp - Turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp - coriander powder
  • 1/2 tsp - Red Chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp - Cumins powder
  • 1/2 tsp - black pepper powder
  • 1 tsp - ginger/garlic paste
  • 2 - Green chillies (sliced)
  • 2 tbsp - oil
  • How to Make Shrimp Masala:

    1. Saute sliced onions in a frying pan with the oil till they turn transparent.
    2. Add green chillies, turmeric powder, coriander powder, red chilli powder, cumin powder and black pepper powder, ginger/garlic paste and stir well for about a minute.
    3. Add the finely chopped tomatoes and cook till the tomatoes disperse well with the masala (add some water if need be).
    4. Squeeze the juice of one lemon and cover the pan and cook for further 2-3 mins.
    5. Add shrimps, salt to taste and simmer for 3-4 mins till the shrimps are cooked.
    6. Remove the pan from the fire and garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
