How to Make Simple Instant Mango Pickle

  • Dry roast methi and powder it.
  • Cut the mangoes into very small squares.
  • Heat oil in a pan.
  • Season with mustard seeds.
  • Add the mango pieces, turmeric powder and salt and cook for a while.
  • Add chilli powder and cook till the oil separates.
  • Remove the pan from the heat.
  • Add methi powder and asafoetida to the cooked mangoes and mix well.
  • Preserve in an airtight container after it becomes cool.
  • This can be served immediately.
  • This will last for 2-3 days.
