  • 1 cup - boiled Rice
  • 1 - Lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup - coriander, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup - spring onion, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup - peanuts, roughly crushed
  • 1 tsp - Mustard Seeds
  • 1/4 cup - onion, finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp - oil
  • 1 tsp - Turmeric
  • Salt to taste

How to Make Simple Lemon Rice

  • Heat oil in a pan.
  • Add mustard seeds.
  • Once they start to crackle, add crushed peanuts.
  • Lower the flame.
  • Cook till peanuts turn pink.
  • Then, add onion, coriander and spring onion.
  • Add turmeric and salt.
  • Cook till all the ingredients become nice and tender.
  • Then, add lemon juice.
  • Mix this mixture with boiled rice.
