Ingredients

  • 500 g - Paneer
  • salt to taste
  • 1 tbsp - chopped Coriander leaves
  • oil
  • 2 - large Onions (chopped)
  • 2 - Tomatoes (chopped) Grind to a paste:
  • 1 tsp - Coriander seeds
  • 8 - peppercorns
  • 3 - red kashmiri chillies
  • 1 1" piece - Ginger
  • 1/4 tsp - Cumin seeds
  • 1 tsp - Poppy Seeds
  • How to Make Simple Masala Paneer:

    1. Cut the paneer into 2 inch cubes and deep fry. Keep aside.
    2. Heat some oil in a pan and fry the onions till dark brown then add the ground masala paste and fry for a few minutes.
    3. Add the tomatoes. Add 2 cups of water and simmer for 15 mins.
    4. Add the fried paneer and simmer for a few minutes more.
    5. Sprinkle with coriander leaves before serving.
