  • 2-potatoes (boiled and cut into squares).
  • 1/2 cup-fresh peas boiled.
  • 2-onions- big sized- chopped finely lengthwise.
  • 1- tomatoes- big chopped finely.
  • few flakes- garlic- crushed roughly.
  • 1 spoon- chilli powder.
  • turmeric.
  • salt.
  • 1 tbsp-idli powder or roasted Peanut powder.
  • 5- 6 tsp-oil.
  • How to Make Simple Potato - Peas Fry:

    1. Boil the potatoes and peas and keep aside.
    2. In a non-stick pan heat oil.
    3. Splutter mustard, add garlic and fry well.
    4. Add chopped onions.
    5. Fry for few minutes till it turns brown. Then add in tomatoes and fry.
    6. Now add turmeric, salt, chilli powder, boiled potatoes and peas.
    7. Continue to fry adding more oil if required for 15 minutes till the oil leaves the sides of the pan.
    8. Add the idli powder or roasted peanut powder.
    9. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
