  • 2-potatoes (boiled and cut into squares).
  • 1/2 cup-fresh peas boiled.
  • 2-onions- big sized- chopped finely lengthwise.
  • 1- tomatoes- big chopped finely.
  • few flakes- garlic- crushed roughly.
  • 1 spoon- chilli powder.
  • turmeric.
  • salt.
  • 1 tbsp-idli powder or roasted peanut powder.
  • 5- 6 tsp-oil.

How to Make Simple Potato - Peas Fry

  • Boil the potatoes and peas and keep aside.
  • In a non-stick pan heat oil.
  • Splutter mustard, add garlic and fry well.
  • Add chopped onions.
  • Fry for few minutes till it turns brown. Then add in tomatoes and fry.
  • Now add turmeric, salt, chilli powder, boiled potatoes and peas.
  • Continue to fry adding more oil if required for 15 minutes till the oil leaves the sides of the pan.
  • Add the idli powder or roasted peanut powder.
  • Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
