Ingredients

  • 1 kg - Chicken
  • 2 tbsp - oil
  • For marination: 2 tbsp - Lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp - yogurt
  • 1 tbsp - Ginger paste
  • 1 tbsp - Garlic paste
  • 1 tbsp - red chilly powder
  • 1 tbsp - coriander powder
  • 1 tbsp - cumin powder
  • 1 pinch - yellow edible colour
  • 3 - eggs
  • bread crumbs
  • cornflakes mix
  • For Garnish: Potato chips
  • Tomato slices
  • Onion

How to Make Simple Roast Chicken

  • Mix all spices in a bowl with lemon juice and yogurt.
  • Marinate chicken and refrigerate for 2 hrs.
  • Heat 2 tbsp of oil, add marinate chicken, cover cook on medium heat.
  • When the meat gets tender, beat eggs, dip pieces in it and then coat with bread crumb and cornflakes.
  • Deep fry until it turns golden brown on medium heat.
  • Garnish pieces with potato chips, tomato and onion slices.
  • Serve with tomato ketchup and raita mix with green chutney.
