Ingredients

  • 2 cups - sabudana, soaked for about three to four hours
  • Green chillies to taste
  • 2 tbsps - Oil
  • 2 tbsp - Peanuts (roasted)
  • 2 tbsp - dry or fresh grated coconut
  • 1 tsp - cumin
  • 1 tsp - mustard seeds
  • A piece of fresh ginger
  • A pinch of turmeric
  • Lemon juice for taste
  • Salt to taste

How to Make Simple Sabudana Uppama

  • Dry roast groundnuts till light brown and powder (coarse) in a blender.
  • Heat oil and season with asafoetida, cumin, turmeric, and mustard seeds.
  • Add chopped green chillies and ginger.
  • Then add the soaked sabodana. Stir well with the seasoning.
  • Finally add coarsely ground peanuts, coconut, cilantro and salt. Mix well and serve.
