  • 2 cups - sabudana, soaked for about three to four hours
  • Green chillies to taste
  • 2 tbsps - Oil
  • 2 tbsp - Peanuts (roasted)
  • 2 tbsp - dry or fresh grated Coconut
  • 1 tsp - cumin
  • 1 tsp - Mustard Seeds
  • A piece of fresh Ginger
  • A pinch of Turmeric
  • Lemon juice for taste
  • Salt to taste
  • How to Make Simple Sabudana Uppama:

    1. Dry roast groundnuts till light brown and powder (coarse) in a blender.
    2. Heat oil and season with asafoetida, cumin, turmeric, and mustard seeds.
    3. Add chopped green chillies and ginger.
    4. Then add the soaked sabodana. Stir well with the seasoning.
    5. Finally add coarsely ground peanuts, coconut, cilantro and salt. Mix well and serve.
