Ingredients

  • Prawns - 250 gm
  • chopped onions, large - 1
  • diced capsicum, large - 1
  • Egg - 1
  • diced tomato, medium - 2
  • Corn paste - 2 tbsp
  • Corn paste dissolved in water - 2 tbsp
  • chilli powder - 1 tsp
  • Tomato sauce - 1/2 cup
  • Sugar - 4 tbsp
  • Vinegar - 4 tbsp
  • pepper - 2 grinds/ 1 tsp
  • oil as required
  • salt to taste

How to Make

  • Wash and clean the prawns. Mix egg, salt, pepper and corn paste. Dip the prawns in the batter and fry them. Keep aside.
  • Put oil in a pan. Fry the onions. Take them out.
  • Fry the capsicum a little. Add the tomato sauce, vinegar, sugar, chilli powder and little corn paste mixed with water.
  • Let the sauce simmer till it becomes thick.
  • Add the fried prawns, onions and tomatoes.
  • Mix well for 2 mins.
  • Serve hot with rice.
