  • For dough:
  • 1 kg - potatoes
  • 1/2 kg - arrow root powder
  • For the stuffing:
  • 1 - grated coconut
  • 200 g - roasted peanuts
  • 3 - green chillies
  • 1 bunch -coriander leaves
  • 2 tbsp - sugar
  • salt to taste
  • oil for deep frying.

How to Make Soft Potato Kachoris

  • Pressure cook the potatoes till 5-6 whistles.
  • Mash it and mix well with arrow root powder to make dough.
  • Dry grind the coconut, peanuts and sugar very coarsely.
  • Add finely chopped coriander, green chillies and salt to this mixture.
  • Roll out small puris with the dough, put 1 tbsp of this mixture and make balls.
  • Deep fry in oil to light brown colour.
