Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup - kokam
  • 1 - grated Coconut
  • 2/3 Garlic (singles/petals)
  • 1/2 - Green chilli
  • salt
  • Coriander leaves
  • Ghee and Mustard Seeds for seasoning (Vagar)
  • How to Make Solachi (Kokam) Kadhi:

    1. Soak kokum in salted water for about 15-20 mins.
    2. Grind the coconut with garlic, chillies and extract milk.
    3. Mix the soaked kokum in this milk.
    4. Heat ghee and add mustard seeds.
    5. Once the mustard seeds crackle add the seasoning to the milk.
    6. Do not heat the milk.
    7. Serve this with rice.
