Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup - kokam
  • 1 - grated coconut
  • 2/3 garlic (singles/petals)
  • 1/2 - green chilli
  • salt
  • Coriander leaves
  • Ghee and mustard seeds for seasoning (Vagar)

How to Make Solachi (Kokam) Kadhi

  • Soak kokum in salted water for about 15-20 mins.
  • Grind the coconut with garlic, chillies and extract milk.
  • Mix the soaked kokum in this milk.
  • Heat ghee and add mustard seeds.
  • Once the mustard seeds crackle add the seasoning to the milk.
  • Do not heat the milk.
  • Serve this with rice.
