How to Make

  • Heat half ghee in large frying pan till warm.
  • Add flour and stir continuously till aroma exudes.
  • Add gum crystals and allow to pop completely.
  • Add all other ingredients, except remaining ghee and jaggery.
  • Mix well with a wide spatula.
  • Empty into a large bowl or plate.
  • Heat remaining ghee, add jaggery.
  • Stir till jaggery melts and just starts bubbling.
  • Add to the mixture and mix thoroughly.
  • Take fistfuls and shape into ladoos.
  • The mixture must be shaped while hot, or laddoos won't hold.
  • Cool completely, before storing into airtight containers.
