Ingredients

  • 2 cups - sour Curd
  • 1 medium, finely chopped - Onion
  • small piece, finely chopped - Ginger
  • 2 - Green chilli
  • Finely chopped coriander
  • 1/4 bunch - Curry leaves
  • 2 tbsp - oil
  • 1/4 tsp - mustard seeds, urad dal, Channa dal, jeera,
  • A little - Hing
  • 1 - Red Chilli
  • A pinch - Turmeric
  • How to Make South Indian kadi (majjiga pulusu):

    1. Add salt, turmeric to curd. Mix.
    2. Heat oil in a pan. Add mustard, jeera, urad dal, channa dal, hing red chilli.
    3. When mustard pops, add green chilli, ginger chopped pieces and fry a little.
    4. Now add onions and fry them for a while.
    5. Add curry leaves and coriander. Then add the curds and mix well.
    6. Leave on low heat for another minute and transfer the contents to a serving bowl.
