  • 2 cups - sour curd
  • 1 medium, finely chopped - onion
  • small piece, finely chopped - ginger
  • 2 - green chilli
  • Finely chopped coriander
  • 1/4 bunch - curry leaves
  • 2 tbsp - oil
  • 1/4 tsp - mustard seeds, urad dal, channa dal, jeera,
  • A little - hing
  • 1 - red chilli
  • A pinch - turmeric

How to Make South Indian kadi (majjiga pulusu)

  • Add salt, turmeric to curd. Mix.
  • Heat oil in a pan. Add mustard, jeera, urad dal, channa dal, hing red chilli.
  • When mustard pops, add green chilli, ginger chopped pieces and fry a little.
  • Now add onions and fry them for a while.
  • Add curry leaves and coriander. Then add the curds and mix well.
  • Leave on low heat for another minute and transfer the contents to a serving bowl.
