Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup-rice
  • 4 litres- Milk
  • 2.5 cups-sugar
  • Cardamom
  • How to Make South Indian Pal Payasam:

    1. Take the rice and grind it in the mixie so that it becomes small granules. Use just a handful of rice.
    2. Take a vessel add the milk and rice and cook it using a pressure cooker.
    3. After 4 to 5 whistles keep it in medium for about 40 mins. After it cools, add sugar and cardamom if necessary.
