  • 1 cup - Soya chunks (cooked and ground into coarse paste)
  • 1 - Onion (chopped finely)
  • 1/4 cup - Barley flour
  • 1/4 cup - Gram flour
  • 1 tsp - Ginger(grated)
  • 1/2 cup - Rice flour
  • 2 - Green chillies (chopped)
  • 1/2 tsp - Fennel seeds
  • Chopped Coriander leaves
  • Curry leaves
  • Salt
  • Oil for Deep Frying
  • How to Make Soya chunk and Barley Pinched Fritters:

    1. Take the coarsely ground soya chunks, chopped onions, barley flour, gram flour, rice flour, grated ginger, chopped green chillies, fennel seeds, curry leaves and chopped coriander leaves with enough salt.
    2. Mix everything well, sprinkle some water and turn everything as a thick dough.
    3. Heat oil for Deep frying.
    4. Take a golf balled size batter and pinch gently a small quantity of this dough and drop gently to the hot oil, fry until they turn crispy and golden brown.
    5. Enjoy hot with a cup of coffee.
