  • 2 cups - Rice, cooked
  • 1- Onion, chopped
  • 20-25- Soya chunks
  • 1 cup - Cabbage, shredded
  • 1/2 cup - Green beans
  • 2 tsp - Tomato ketchup
  • 1 tsp - Pav bhaji masala
  • 1/4 tsp - Pepper powder
  • 1 tsp - Garam masala powder
  • 1/2 tsp - Cumin seeds
  • 10-12 - Curry leaves
  • Oil
  • Salt to taste.

How to Make Soya chunks Rice

  • Heat oil in a pan and saute the cumin seeds and curry leaves.
  • Then add the chopped onions and salt and saute until the onions turn translucent.
  • Meanwhile boil the soya chunks in hot water until they double their volume.
  • Drain the water and squeeze the excess water.
  • Now add the green beans, shredded cabbage to the onions, and saute everything for 1-2 mins. Then add the soya chunks, tomato ketchup, pav bhaji masala, garam masala powder, salt and cook everything on a high flame for a few seconds.
  • Finally add the cooked rice, pepper powder and toss everything gently.
  • Serve hot with chips or papads.
