  • For the Stuffing:
  • 1/2 cup - Minced soya granules(cooked)
  • 1- Potato (Big and cooked)
  • 1- Onion (chopped)
  • 1- Tomato (chopped)
  • 1/ 2 tsp - Ginger Garlic paste
  • 1/2 tsp - Red chilly powder
  • Salt
  • 8-10 - Curry leaves
  • 1/2 tsp - Cumin seeds and Mustard Seeds
  • Oil
  • For Fritters:
  • 1 cup - Gram flour
  • 1/4 cup - Rice flour
  • Pinch of Asafoetida powder
  • 1/4 tsp - Baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp - Red chilly powder
  • 6- Chillies
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil.
  • How to Make Soya kheema and Potato Masala Stuffed Chilli Fritters:

    1. Heat oil in a pan and splutter the cumin and mustard seeds.
    2. Then add the onions, chopped tomatoes, curry leaves, ginger garlic paste and salt to it and saute everything until the onions turn pink.
    3. Now add the potatoes and the soya granules and saute until the masala gets cooked.
    4. Keep aside.
    5. Meanwhile mix all the ingredients for the fritters, except the oil and chillies, and make a thick batter with the water.
    6. Now heat oil for Deep frying.
    7. In the meanwhile cut the chillies and remove the seeds and fill them with the soya kheema and potato masala.
    8. Now dip the stuffed mirchis in the batter and gently drop them into the hot oil.
    9. Deep Fried on both sides until golden brown.
    10. Place in a paper towel to remove the excess oil.
    11. Serve with coffee or tea.
