  • 2 cups-rice
  • 1 cup -tuvar dal
  • 1 cup-split peas
  • 1 cup-urad dal
  • 5-green chillies
  • 4- Red Chillies
  • 1.5 tbsp- salt
  • 1/4 tbsp-hing powder
  • How to Make Special Kerala Adai:

    1. Soak rice and the dals together in water for 2 hours.
    2. Grind them into a fine paste adding red, green chillies, salt and hing powder
    3. Keep the paste for 1/2 hour and make adai just like dosa in a frying pan.
    4. Serve it with sambar or chutney or butter and sugar.
