  • 1 cup - rice
  • 1 litre - milk
  • 10 tbsp- ghee
  • cashew nuts fried in ghee
  • 4 to 5 tbsp- condensed milk or malai
  • 1 cup - sugar

How to Make Special kheer with rice

  • Wash the rice once. Keep it aside.
  • Fry some sugar in ghee for a minute. Add the rice to the sugar and fry for a minute.
  • Add 2 cups of water to it and allow it to cook in a pressure cooker up to 3 whistles.
  • Remove the lid and add milk to cooked rice.
  • Let it boil for 5 minutes, then add sugar.
  • Boil again for 5 minutes. Add condensed milk.
  • Finally, add cashewnuts and serve.
