Ingredients

  • 1.5 lb - chicken
  • 1.5 cup - fenugreek leaves
  • 1 large - onion
  • 1 large - tomato
  • 1 tbsp -ginger garlic paste
  • 1/2 tsp - turmeric
  • 1 tsp -chilli powder
  • 1 tsp - garam masala
  • 3 tbsp - oil
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tsp - lemon juice
  • 1 -bay leaf

How to Make Special Methi Chicken

  • Marinate chicken with lemon juice, ginger garlic paste and salt for 15 min.
  • Heat a little oil in a pan and saute fenugreek leaves for 5 minutes, grind into a smooth paste with little water and set aside.
  • In another pan, heat the remaining oil, add bay leaf and finely diced onions and tomatoes. Fry for 2 minutes.
  • Now add the marinated chicken and rest of the ingredients and cook till done.
  • Finally, add the fenugreek paste to the chicken and mix well. Cook in low for 5 minutes and serve.
