  • 1 cup - ripe chopped papaya, Peach or other fruit
  • 1 tbsp - Sugar
  • 6 to 8 - crushed ice cubes
  • 1 tsp - Lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup - chilled water
  • 1/4 tsp - salt
  • A small end sprig - kaffir Lime leaves or Mint leaves

How to Make Special Nam Pon

  • Put the fruit in an electric blender. Run till smooth.
  • Add all the other ingredients, except leaves.
  • Run, till drink is frothy and light.
  • Pour into chilled glasses, allow to froth over.
  • Garnish rim with leaves and serve immediately.
  • Shelf life: Best fresh.
